my story
I Didn’t Start Here
I spent 15 years in the corporate world before starting The forwardwebcraft. I learned structure. I learned how to think strategically. I learned how much clarity matters when real money is on the line.
But I also knew I wanted to build something that felt like mine. So I left.
I started this business while raising my daughter, figuring out pricing, proposals, boundaries, and confidence in real time.
I know what it feels like to Google things at night and wonder if you’re doing it right. I also know what it feels like when something finally clicks — when your brand feels aligned, when your website makes you proud instead of anxious.
That shift matters. And that’s the work I care about.

Things I Love
- Spring and fall. The in-between seasons.
- Fresh cut grass.
- Gardening. Even the weeding. That’s my therapy.
- Cooking good food. Life is too short for bad meals. Every meal has intention.
- Campfires and bonfires.
- Nachos. I try them at every restaurant I go to. It’s a system.
- Bird watching and feeding the birds in our yard. My favourite is the Baltimore Oriole, but I’ll never say no to a bright yellow finch.
- Sunday fundays with friends and neighbours.
- All the music
- Working out. Running. Lifting weights. Peloton rides that clear my head.
- ATV rides. Being outside in almost any season except winter.
- My daughter and my husband. They are my why.
- Working. I genuinely love it.
- Helping women build something they’re proud of.
- Being straight to the point.
Things I Don’t Love
- Overcomplicated meetings. If it can be solved in 30 minutes, let’s solve it in 30 minutes.
- Endless back and forth with no decisions.
- Design that looks impressive but makes no sense when you use it.
- Overcomplicated messaging that sounds smart but says nothing.
- The word “ASAP” without context.
- Hand washing dishes.
- Folding laundry. If I’m being honest, it usually lives in the basket longer than it should.
- Unscheduled events (I’m working on it)

- I ask a lot of questions. I’d rather understand your business properly than assume and get it wrong.

- I care about the details — spacing, words, flow. How someone moves through your site matters as much as how it looks.
- I don’t rush projects. Good work takes the time it takes. I’m not racing to close the next job.

- I don’t outsource you to someone else. It’s me, start to finish. That’s the whole point.
